Defender Callum Howe has earned himself a double Team of the Week inclusion, following his solid performance in our 3-0 win at home to Southend United.
The City captain played his part in the first goal, nodding Dan Batty’s corner against the bar for Dipo Akinyemi to smash home the follow-up.
He got his head on another Batty corner just minutes later, to double the advantage, notching his first goal of the season, and his first-ever at the LNER Community Stadium.
Howe remains ever-present for the Minstermen this campaign, playing every minute in all competitions so far, 2,340 to be precise.
The Southend victory was his eleventh clean sheet of 2024/25 too.
