Three York City players have been named in Team of the Weeks by various outlets following our 6-2 victory at home to Maidenhead United.
Forward Ollie Pearce, who bagged a brace against The Magpies inside the opening 25 minutes, features in both The Non-League Paper and Vanarama roll calls.
Midfielder Alex Hunt has also been named in The Non-League Paper, with Adam Crookes featuring within the Vanarama’s selections!
It was Crookes’ first goal of the season on Saturday. The defender has battled hard with injuries since the beginning of the season, earning his spot within Adam Hinshelwood’s team recently.
