York City is disappointed to report on repeated anti-social behaviour which continues to re-occur on matchdays, despite warning.
So far this season, seats have continued to be broken and even toilet urinals needlessly damaged. These incidents inevitably come at a cost to the Football Club.
Individuals continue to be identified, with retrospective action taken against those clearly involved.
The Club politely reminded supporters of conduct ahead of the 2024/25 season, and this message does not change at all.
The Club can be liable of being charged by The FA, with a range of sanctions a clearly outlined possibility if incidents occur, as stated last season and ahead of this season.
Anti-social and inappropriate behaviour / chanting, and the usage of pyrotechnic or missile throwing falls within the remit of the club receiving possible sanctions by the Football Association.
After the start Adam Hinshelwood and his side have had, no supporter of the Football Club would want to see it reach a stage which harms the playing side both financially or with points.
We once again ask to keep your support loud, proud, and behind the white line in the stands, both home and away.
Please do not bring into any stadium any form of pyrotechnic or throwable missile, or engage in any form anti-social behaviour of any kind.
Hear It. See It. Report It. Football is for everyone.
Supporters can text YORK to 60060 (£1 per text) to anonymously alert York Stadium Management Company and their stewards to anti-social or discriminatory behaviour within the LNER Community Stadium on home match days.
Stewards are also on hand, both home and away, to help support the supporters.
