A promising left back with pace and stamina, who is excellent at reading the game. The young defender was given his first professional contract in the summer of 2021, before being handed his first-team debut in October that year. In the 2022/23 season he went out on loan to Northern Premier League side Guiseley in order to gain first-team game experience. After signing a contract extension with York at the beginning of the season, Haase will continue his development at Northern Premier League east division side Stockton.
