We were delighted to announce the signing of Junior Luamba on loan from Salford City on the 1st February 2025.
Luamba joined up with the Minstermen for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The 21-year-old forward began his career at Oldham Athletic where he moved up through the youth ranks to earn himself a spot in the first team. Through his time with the Latics he scored two goals in 32 appearances in League Two as well as the National League.
In 2023 Junior earned himself a move to Salford City where he has gone on to make 37 appearances in all competitions, getting six goal contributions in that time.
The attacking player made his City debut off the bench against Dagenham & Redbridge, winning a penalty in injury time which would go on to secure three points for the Minstermen.
