Hancox can operate as a left wing back, left winger or attacking midfielder. The nippy playmaker spent 5 years with Birmingham City in the Championship earlier in his career before playing for the likes of Macclesfield Town, MK Dons and Solihull Moors.
Cult hero Mitch signed initially as a left back from Hereford on loan during the 2021/22 season but found form as a central midfielder, firing 11 goals in 37 appearances and scoring some vital goals in the run in for promotion.
He signed a permanent contract with the club in the summer of 2022 despite interest from a host of other clubs.
