York City FC were delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Cox as the club’s new assistant manager in September 2023, working alongside Neal Ardley and Tony McMahon.
The 51-year-old worked with manager Neal Ardley previously at AFC Wimbledon and Notts County.
Cox is also familiar working together with Tony McMahon, having had McMahon in his coaching staff at Scunthorpe United.
The former Scunthorpe boss joined the Minstermen having had just shy of two years away from football, having departed the Iron in November 2021.
