City fall to Whitby defeat

City lost their second game of pre-season 2-0 this afternoon away to Whitby Town.
The Seasiders went one up early on with a goal from Adam Gell after the forward snuck into the box and latched onto a low cross into the box on 13 minutes.
Gell added to his tally in the second half, putting in a goalline scramble after City denied two earlier attempts.
Whitby looked in control and saw the remaining minutes out at the Towbar Express Stadium to seal the victory.
