Match Preview | Solihull Moors vs York City

York City head to Solihull Moors for the final league game of the 2023/24 Vanarama National League fixture (12.15pm kick off).

Adam Hinshelwood’s side topped off the season on home soil with a 2-0 win against Woking, a side also battling it out for survival.

Goals from Billy Chadwick and Dipo Akinyemi pushed City over the 50-point mark and onto 53, but it’s still all to play for despite historical points tallies suggesting otherwise.

Solihull Moors have secured their playoff spot, however continue to battle it out in order to secure the highest possible place within the quarter-finals stage.

A 3-0 loss away to Bromley last Saturday meant Andy Whing’s side couldn’t quite secure a semi-finals spot, which was wrapped up by Bromley thanks to a game in hand during the week.
