Harry Bunn wins three points for City

Match Result

City came out 3-2 winners against Southport as Steve Watson's men came from behind to snatch victory on Merseyside.
York were unfortunate to go into half time a goal down after conceding from a long throw which landed straight to Jordan Archer who made no mistake from 6 yards.
It took City just 9 minutes to hit back in the second half, a deflected Sean Newton free-kick giving the team some well-deseved luck to level the score.
The Sandgrounders then struck again, this time Niall Watson with a superb curled effort into the top corner following a clearance to the edge of the box.
And it was up to Newton to step up and provide the goods once more, with another free-kick in a similar position, this time up and over the wall and into the back of the net from 25-yards.
Harry Bunn then grabbed the winning goal after great play down the right-wing and a pullback for the forward to place into the far left bottom corner.
City ended the contest with all three points and now sit inside the play-offs with two games in hand over league leaders Gloucester City.
