In today’s edition of ‘Loan Watch’, we look back at how some of our players are getting on during loan spells at fellow clubs, as well as their upcoming fixtures.

Finlay Barnes

The young midfielder continues to turn out for National League North side Scarborough Athletic on a regular basis.

He played 77 minutes of their 1-0 win over Buxton last weekend at the Flamingo Land Stadium, before featuring in Tuesday night’s 1-0 win at Curzon Ashton.

The 22-year-old and Scarborough are back in action this coming Saturday when they face a tough trip to league leaders Tamworth in the sixth tier.

Sam Sanders

The 21-year-old continues to turn out on a regular basis for National League South side Truro City and last weekend, he featured a centre-back in their 0-0 draw at Aveley in the sixth tier.

Having slipped down the league table into 16th place over recent weeks, Sanders will hope he can help Truro end a winless run of four games this coming Saturday as they set to face Tonbridge Angels at home.

George Harrison

The young first-year professional recently joined Northern Premier League Division One East side Bridlington Town on a loan deal until the end of the season.

He joins the club for a second spell, after impressing there on a loan deal at the back end of last season, where he helped the club to a mid-table finish.

So far during his latest spell there, he’s made two starts for the club, firstly in a 3-2 away win at Grantham Town, before claiming an assist and Man of the Match in Tuesday evening’s 3-0 win over Brighouse Town.

This weekend, Harrison and Bridlington Town face Carlton Town at home this coming Saturday afternoon.

Jonny Haase

The 20-year-old left back continues to make the match day squad at Northern Premier League Division East side Stockton Town.

He recently came off the bench as an 81st minute substitute in Stockton’s 4-1 victory at Ashington two weeks ago, before being handed his first start for the club as Stockton took on Chester Le Street Town in the Durham Challenge Cup last week, a game in which Stockton won 5-0 and Haase scored his first goal in men’s senior football to round off the win.

This weekend, Haase and Stockton travel to Liversedge in the league as they look to secure three points.

Maison Campbell

The young goalkeeper recently made a short-term loan deal to Northern Premier League side Marske United and made his first two appearances for the club against Matlock Town and FC United of Manchester.

Recently, he has been an unused substitute for Markse’s last two league games against Atherton Colleries and Workington AFC in the seventh tier.

This weekend, Campbell and Marske face a trip across to West Yorkshire to take on Bradford Park Avenue at the Horsfall Stadium.

Kevin Joshua

The 21-year-old has started two of Macclesfield FC’s most recent games, featuring in the heart of the Silkmen’s defence against Warrington Rylands in the Northern Premier League and Hanley Town in the Isuzu FA Trophy, before missing out in Tuesday’s 4-3 defeat at Radcliffe Borough.

He hasn’t featured for the last couple of games for the Silkmen, but he’ll hope to return to action as Macclesfield take on Halesowen Town in the Isuzu FA Trophy 1st Round at the weekend.

Cedric Main

The forward has had an enjoyable start to the season with Blyth Spartans since he re-joined his former club on loan until January.

So far this season, he has scored crucial goals in games against the likes of Boston United, Farsley Celtic and Bradford Park Avenue, as well as providing a handful of assists also within those games.

Most recently, Main featured in Blyth’s 1-0 home defeat to Buxton, but he didn’t feature in their most recent outing on Tuesday evening, a 0-0 draw against North-East rivals Darlington at Blackwell Meadows.

This weekend sees Main and Blyth make the long trip south to take on Kings Lynn Town in the National League North.

Ethan Henderson

The young forward recently made a one-month loan move to Northern Premier League side Atherton Colleries, where in his first two appearances for the club, he featured off the bench on both occasions.

Henderson and Atherton Colleries are next in action on Saturday 4th November when they take on Ilkeston Town at home in the Northern Premier League.
