We take a look at how some of The Minstermen’s players are faring out on loan whilst away from the LNER Community Stadium, with seven players currently playing across the pyramid.

Some of the loan spells at present are with a mixture of National League, and National League North sides, with players on extended terms and shorter one-month long agreements.

Levi Andoh

The Dutch defender joined Darlington on an initial one-month long loan deal in August, and has since gone on to complete multiple 90 minutes for the first time in over a year.

The 24-year-old’s debut away to Buxton saw the defender put in 55 minutes of graft before three further appearances against Curzon Ashton, Alfreton and Marine all concluded in 90 minutes of football.

Thierry Latty-Fairweather

An initial month’s long loan spell with Maidenhead United commenced in August for left-back Thierry Latty-Fairweather.

The 21-year-old hasn’t missed a game so far, featuring in seven Maidenhead fixtures, picking up one clean sheet.

He also featured for 90 minutes in the side which turned over Barnet 3-1 at York Road.

Latty-Fairweather has played out the full 90 minutes across the five games, coming off in the 71st minute during his debut and most recently in the 39th minute against Tamworth.

Bill Marshall

Youngster Bill Marshall joined Ossett United on a youth loan at the end of August, immediately debuting against Consett AFC in league action.

Ossett won the game 2-1 in the 90+1st minute, with City’s youngster featuring in the entire 90 minutes.

FA Trophy action then followed for Ossett, which Marshall did not feature in.

Two further 90 minute appearances last week, in league action against Sherwood Colliery and North Ferriby, topped up the youngster’s work out on loan so far.

Leon Gibson-Booth

The youngster, along with Bill Marshall, also joined Ossett United on a youth loan at the end of August, immediately debuting against Consett AFC in league action.

Similarly to Marshall, Gibson-Booth did not feature in the FA Trophy.

Action against Sherwood Colliery and North Ferriby also followed for Gibson-Booth, playing out the entirety of both games.

Olly Dyson

The midfielder joined Spennymoor Town just prior to The Minstermen’s pre-season friendly in August, which Dyson featured in at right-back.

Dyson has featured in all nine games so far for Spennymoor, not missing a minute of action either, in both National League North and Emirates FA Cup action.

The 24-year-old netted earlier in the month during their 4-2 victory over Radcliffe, hitting a left-footed shot onto the post and in from inside the area.

Maz Kouhyar

The winger joined Kidderminster Harriers earlier in the summer and hasn’t missed a game for the National League North outfit, in either league or cup competition.

Kouhyar has three goals to his name so far, netting against Darlington, Radcliffe and Oxford City, in what has been a fine start to the season for the 26-year-old.

Tyler Cordner

Defender Tyler Cordner’s time at Ebbsfleet has seen a manager departure so soon in the season.

Danny Searle left the Vanarama National League side following six defeats in seven to open the season, with Harry Watling stepping in days later.

The 25-year-old defender, who is on a season long loan with The Fleet, has featured in seven of eight games for Ebbsfleet so far this season, picking up a clean sheet against Braintree Town in August.
