Pete Jameson wins Clubman of the Year!

We are delighted to announce goalkeeper Pete Jameson as Clubman of the Year 2021/22!

The man between the sticks was the standout candidate with 61% of the of fans’ vote, followed by Akil Wright (12%) and Paddy McLaughlin (5%).

Jameson has kept 18 clean sheets so far this season in all competitions and is the only player to have played 90 minutes in every competitive fixture this campaign.

He is the 5th goalkeeper to have won the award, joining the select group of the late Eddie Blackburn, Chris Marples, Alan Fettis and Michael Ingham.

Pete lifted the Billy Fenton Memorial trophy this afternoon before our final fixture of the season against AFC Fylde.
