Middlesbrough and Whitby friendlies announced

York City Football Club can confirm two further pre-season dates for the 2021/22 season.

Steve Watson’s side will visit the Towbar Express Stadium to play Whitby Town on Saturday 10th July – kick-off TBA.

Later that month, Championship side Middlesbrough will visit the LNER Community Stadium on Tuesday 27th July – 7pm kick-off.

The two sides join Newcastle United in a mouthwatering pre-season schedule so far for the Minstermen ahead of the August 14 National League North start date.
