Sean Newton leaves for Buxton

We can confirm that Sean Newton has joined Northern Premier League side Buxton on loan for the remainder of the season.

We thank Sean for his service to the club, representing the badge with pride which has seen a joint-record three clubman of the year awards – as voted by the supporters.

The club captain also won the Buildbase FA Trophy with the club in 2017, after signing permanently from Wrexham earlier that season.

Sean made a total of 188 appearances and scored 33 goals whilst in red and blue.

We wish him well for the remainder of the campaign with Buxton.
