Club Shop items donated to Charity

By Dan Simmonite | 31st August 2021

We have donated leftover club shop items from Bootham Crescent to the York City Football Club Foundation and charity shops in York.

St Leonards Hospice on Scarcroft Road in York and Martin House on Front Street in Acomb have been donated the stock, with a new range of PUMA gear now available in the Club Shop at the LNER Community Stadium.

The YCFC Foundation will use the items as part of their work in schools and holiday camps.

A club spokesperson said: "We still had an abundance of stock left after our Bootham Crescent sale which we held when moving out of the ground.

"Now we have fully moved across to the new stadium and have a brand new range in store we decided it would be great to help the community work conducted by our Foundation and also donate to charity shops in the York area that do some fantastic work."

The address of both Charity Shops are below:

St Leonard's Hospice Shop - Scarcroft Road, York

Martin House Hospice Shop - Acomb, York
