OUR GLOBAL FAN BASE
At York City Football Club we are privileged to have a number of active supporters groups who both galvanise support for the team, generously fund-raise for the club or provide a social setting for the benefit of supporters who may live outside the city of York.
According to a 2021 fan’s survey, over 60% of our supporters did not live in a YO postcode and we know of supporters living in over 70 countries around the world. We are a local club, with a global appeal.
The club is 25% owned by York City Supporters’ Trust who have been a major shareholder and guardians of the football club since 2003. To find out more about the Trust and how they support the club, please visit ycst.org.uk.
