Joined the York City youth team from Carlisle United as a 16-year-old and has since impressed enough at centre half to earn a professional contract this summer.
Ben’s main attribute is his aerial ability. He is registered with John Askey’s first team squad for the upcoming season and will be eagerly awaiting his debut in City colours. He recently played a part in the pre-season friendly against Championship club Middlesbrough - coming off the bench in the 84th minute.
