Afghanistan International who signed for City just before the transfer deadline in March from Hereford, the club beating off stiff competition for his signature.
Kouhyar came through the ranks at Walsall before making 33 appearances in League One for the Saddlers. After an injury kept him out of the game for two years, he resurfaced at Hereford and in his debut season scored 5 goals in 30 appearances which included a strike against City which prompted Manager John Askey to sign the 24-year-old.
Maz can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder and made his debut in red and blue against Kettering in April.
