York City hosted an event at the Yorkshire Activity Centre on Tuesday for Executive Circle Business Club members to network and meet other businesses, while enjoying the different activities on offer.
The event kicked off in the morning with a short introduction, before the fun started with the attendees split into three teams for three 45-minute sessions.
The teams rotated around various activities, including clay pigeon shooting, archery, rifle shooting, and axe throwing, attempting to score high.
First-team players Callum Howe, Ryan Fallowfield, Dan Batty, Adam Crookes, and Malachi Fagan-Walcott were also in attendance, as well as club ambassadors Derek Hood and Andy Leaning.
The players presented the prizes after activities had concluded, with third place receiving a signed programme and matchbox print, while the second-best contestant was given a signed York City football.
First place bagged themselves a shirt signed by the first team.
Ambassador Derek Hood fared well, managing second place, while Dan Batty’s high scoring earned a complimentary cap.
York City FC Commercial Executive Cameron Walton reflected on the day: “The event gave our sponsors a chance to get to know each other, get to know us a bit more and what we are looking to do.
“A big thank you to everyone who came, as well as Yorkshire Activity Centre for their support too, it was a great turnout, and we are delighted with how the event went – hopefully everyone had a good time, and we continue to look to build a good community feel around the club.”
Yorkshire Activity Centre is based in Rufforth, just outside York, and offers a wide range of exciting outdoor activities – you can find out more about them here.
