York City will open their 2026/27 Sky Bet League Two season at home to Bristol Rovers on Saturday 15th August (3pm kick-off).
Our return to the EFL will be broadcast live from the LNER Community Stadium on Sky Sports Football, before we make the short trip to Rotherham United for our first away game seven days later.
A home match versus recently-relegated Exeter City completes the league schedule for August.
Cheltenham Town host the Minstermen on Tuesday 1st September, our first midweek clash.
After an Emirates FA Cup First Round fixture in November, we then travel to the Crown Oil Arena to face off against fellow promoted side Rochdale on the 14th.
Over the festive period, we finish our pre-Christmas schedule at home to Crawley Town, then a Boxing Day journey over the Pennines to take on Oldham Athletic awaits.
Fleetwood Town pay a visit to the LNER for our final game of 2026, before the new year opens up with a home game against Salford City.
The reverse fixture against Crawley comes shortly after, on Saturday 9th January.
During February, City will entertain Cheltenham Town, Crewe Alexandra, and Rochdale on home soil.
We then head south to Bristol Rovers in March, ahead of our second Yorkshire derby on Saturday 13th.
The Easter Weekend consists of a trip to the Peninsula Stadium on Good Friday, then three days later, we return home against the Latics.
April is where the run-in begins – we face tests against Fleetwood, Tranmere, and Northampton, prior to Chesterfield at home on the 17th.
Fixtures against Gillingham and Barnet cap off the penultimate month.
Colchester United are our last home opponents of the campaign, visiting on Saturday 1st May, before we travel to Shropshire for a final day clash at Shrewsbury.
