York City can confirm that young forward Alex Hernandez has joined Northern Premier League East Division side Winterton Rangers on a one-month youth loan.
The 17-year-old first joined our youth setup for the 2022/23 season, impressing during that season to earn his first professional contract with the club before the start of the 2023/24 season
Hernandez will link up with brother Dan, who also plays for The Rangers at the MKM Stadium.
Eligible for this afternoon’s fixture, the striker could make his debut against Carlton Town on the road as the side look to pick up three points in their fight for survival.
