Our second pre-season fixture comes away at Pickering Town this Tuesday evening (7:30pm kick-off).
After Greg Olley and Ollie Pearce scored in our friendly opener win at home to Barnsley, a York City XI will now travel up the A64 to Mill Lane for the next test.
The last time we faced the Pikes was back in 2019 at Bootham Crescent, when goals from Macaulay Langstaff, Nathan Dyer, Dan Maguire and Reiss Harrison sealed a 5-0 win in the North Riding Senior Cup.
We also came from two goals down to win 4-2 at Mill Lane in a pre-season friendly that same season.
