2024/25 National League clubs confirmed

Following the Vanarama National League play-off finals over this Bank Holiday Weekend, the line-up for the 2024/25 campaign can now be confirmed.

Sunday’s Wembley showdown saw Solihull Moors take on Bromley, with the latter edging the contest only on a penalty shootout after neither side could be separated after 120 minutes, with the score standing at 2-2.

Former City defender Byron Webster dispatched the all-important spot-kick to send the Ravens to the Football League for the first time in their history.

Alongside Bromley, Chesterfield also head for League Two following their remarkable title clinch.

In the National League North, Boston United travelled to Brackley Town for their Promotion Final, and got the job done over ninety minutes after recording a 2-1 win, despite initially falling behind.

The Pilgrims have ended a 14-year wait for promotion from the division, and are now set to face the Minstermen next season for the first time since that memorable play-off final victory in 2022.

Braintree Town also return to the National League, with a dramatic, albeit entertaining 4-3 play-off final win at Worthing securing their spot in the 2024/25 line-up.

Oxford City, Dorking Wanderers, Kidderminster Harriers, and Boreham Wood all exit the league following their relegation into the National League North and South, as they switch positions with two more teams.

Tamworth exceeded all expectations in the North, making it back-to-back title wins to propel them back into the top tier of non-league football for the first time since 2013/14.

In the South, Yeovil Town bounced straight back up as champions after they finished within the National League’s bottom four in 2022/23.

Coming down from the EFL are Forest Green Rovers and Sutton United, a duo who most recently spent a National League season together in 2016/17, and they will do so again in the forthcoming campaign.
