Prior to our first home game of the 2024/25 Vanarama National League season on Saturday, August 17th, we can now reveal further details in relation to season ticket collections.
After extensive work behind the scenes by York Stadium Management Company, nearly 2,600 season ticket cards have been printed and tested individually on the relevant turnstile heads by staff.
A collaborative plan is now in place to allow supporters to collect physical season cards ahead of the new season.
TIMELINE
Friday, August 9th & Saturday, August 10th
On Friday, between 10am – 7pm, season cards will be available for collection.
Specific season cards will be available at the following points:
- East Stand, Hospitality, Accessible / Carer tickets and West Stand to be collected from the Ticket Office.
- South Stand to be collected from the Club Shop.
On Saturday, between 10am-2pm, season cards will be available for collection from the same designated points as mentioned above.
Between 2pm-4pm on Saturday, all season cards will then move to the Ticket Office.
Sunday, August 11th
No collections due to York Knights fixture.
From Monday, August 12th onwards
Between 10am – 5pm all week, all season cards will be available for collection at the Ticket Office ONLY.
Those who cannot make it at any point between now and matchday can collect on the day of the first match, although we strongly urge supporters to not opt for this offering unless there is no other chance.
WHAT TO BRING TO COLLECT / CAN I COLLECT ON BEHALF OF ANOTHER SUPPORTER?
Supporters looking to collect an Adult or Concession season ticket must bring a form of photo ID, and show proof of purchase in order to collect.
Students – please bring valid ID / proof of enrolment with your school, college, or university, and show proof of purchase in order to collect.
Aged 16 and below, or collecting on behalf of someone this age, must give name and show proof of purchase in order to collect.
Carers – please bring valid Carer Card, and show proof of purchase in order to collect.
Proof of purchase meaning the email confirmation or state the order ID provided within the email.
Supporters CAN collect on behalf of somebody else. Staff will require the name and order number in order to collect on someone’s behalf.
If you are collecting for somebody else, and they are at two different collection points, you will have to queue twice.
MOBILE TICKETING
Supporters will be able to enter the LNER Community Stadium using just their mobile phone next season if they so wish.
The ability to utilise a phone at the turnstile takes away the stress of mis-placed physical season cards.
With it being a new system, supporters are still encouraged to collect and have their season card on hand with them for the first few games of the new campaign.
Having your season card on hand will allow staff on matchday to help if any problems were to arise with BOTH physical and digital tickets.
Those who have downloaded a test ‘York City FC’ app from the iOS or Google Play store, and loaded their season ticket through that, are advised to uninstall this. This is a test app and WILL NOT work.
The only app that will at present allow for access using a phone is the eTicketing mobile ‘app’ from Future Ticketing.
The digital ticket within the eTicketing mobile ‘app’ from Future Ticketing should have exactly the same barcode number as the physical season card, beginning with prefix 42.
If this is not the case, delete and follow our guide again below.
Supporters who wish to use the new offering from Future Ticketing should check our guide here to get setup.
