York City are set to travel 7,838 miles in the 2025/26 National League campaign, an increase on last season.
Last season, we clocked up 7,458 miles on the road, but we will go even further in the coming one.
Scunthorpe United’s promotion from the National League North gives us a new local match, with the Attis Arena our closest journey, sitting just under 50 miles away.
FC Halifax Town, Hartlepool United, Rochdale, and Gateshead all remain as City’s other close-proximity clashes.
Following their relegation from the EFL, Morecambe’s Mazuma Stadium has been added to the map, so we will head to the Lancaster district of the west coast for the first time since 2016.
Another club that will be new to the list, having dropped down a division too, are Carlisle United – the Minstermen will head to Brunton Park, which holds a little under 18,000.
Brackley Town and Boreham Wood gained promotion from the sixth tier, with the Saints plying their trade in the National League for the first time, and Boreham Wood bouncing straight back up.
The treks south to Eastleigh and Yeovil are still some of our longest in the league, but Truro City’s title triumph means a refresh to our furthest away day.
The Truro Sports Hub is located a substantial 399 miles away from the LNER Community Stadium – City’s trip to Cornwall will not only be our furthest of the season, but the most distance we have travelled for a single league game in club history.
