A cheque for £1,000 was presented to St Leonard’s Hospice at Tuesday night’s match versus Carlisle United from York City Past Players in memory of our legendary goalkeeper, Graeme Crawford, who sadly passed away in June.
The money was raised from a charity hole competition at the recent golf day hosted by the Past Players at Pike Hills Golf Club, attended by nearly 200 golfers.
York City Supporters Trust received £2,750, as did York Hospital Radio, the two main beneficiaries on the day.
Receiving the cheque is Annie Keogh (St Leonard’s Hospice) from Ian Blackstone (York City Past Players) alongside Graeme’s wife, Helen and daughter, Lynda Carter, with organiser and Pike Hills member Graham Bradbury.
