We are pleased to announce that our FA Youth Cup Second Round fixture against Bradford City will now be held at the LNER Community Stadium.
We were drawn away to the Bantams just less than two weeks ago, having progressed through the previous rounds with emphatic wins over Bradford Park Avenue and Boro Rangers, before a closer affair with Stockport Town, which City managed to prevail in.
Due to the unavailability of Bradford’s Valley Parade, we have kindly agreed to play the match at the LNER on Wednesday 19th November, with a 7pm kick-off scheduled here in York.
We urge all supporters to come down and support the next generation of York City next week in what is a special competition with a chance to make wonderful memories.
The winner of the tie will make the trip to Crystal Palace in the Third Round, with that game set to take place before Saturday 13th December.
