York City are in action for the final time in 2025 tomorrow, heading to the J.Davidson Stadium to battle with Altrincham (7:45pm kick-off).
The Minstermen come off the back of the Boxing Day draw with Boston United, a result which put an end to our seven-game winning run, but also kept the unbeaten streak alive.
City were reduced to ten men in the second half, and required a stoppage time equaliser from Josh Stones to secure a point.
Altrincham failed to take anything back home from FC Halifax Town on Friday. They went behind early in the second half, but Ollie Crankshaw’s 55th-minute leveller counted for nothing as the Shaymen went on to win the contest.
Alty’s last victory came against Scunthorpe a month ago, and sit 16th in the Enterprise National League table.
The last time we faced the Robins was in March when we succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the LNER Community Stadium.
