We can confirm that forward Donny Day has joined Bridlington Town on a dual-registration.
The 18-year-old joined the academy at the beginning of 2024/25, after previous spells at Scunthorpe United Academy and Bottesford Town.
He netted in the first game of that season, and would go on to score 14 goals across the term, including a hat-trick.
Day started the 2025/26 campaign in perfect form too, scoring twice in our opener against Boston, a game which we fought back from 2-1 down to win 3-2 late on.
A goal against South Shields made in three in two games for the young attacker, and he would also hit a brace in a 4-2 win over Stockport Town in the FA Youth Cup.
Day now links up with Bridlington Town and newly-appointed manager, former York City promotion-winner Scott Kerr, on dual-registration terms.
The Seasiders currently sit 13th in the Northern Premier League East Division.
Good luck, Donny!
