Jake Roberts is the latest player from our academy to head out on a dual-registration basis, joining Horbury Town.
The 17-year-old forward is in his second year with the U19s here, and scored for us only as recently as last Wednesday.
His second goal of 2025/26 arrived early on away at Boston, a game which City would go on to win 4-2 in dramatic style.
Roberts has already played several times for Horbury’s U23s and impressed, earning a step up to the senior side.
He made his debut earlier this month against Campion in the Northern Counties East Premier Division.
