What a privilege it is to be Chairwoman of this wonderful football club we all know and love.
Everywhere I go, I’m constantly reminded that York City isn’t just a team, it’s our family with a very big voice. I hear you all in the stands, I meet you in the streets of York, and I see the pride you carry for these colours and this badge. Believe me, it means the world.
Behind the scenes, there’s a huge amount of hard work going on every single day. Our staff, our volunteers and our players are giving it their all this season, and they feel your backing.
We’re an ambitious club. We want to compete, we always want to improve, and we want to build a club that this city can be proud of for years to come. But we’re also going to enjoy ourselves along the way on this journey, because football should be exciting, emotional and magical.
I want to thank you personally for your noise, your loyalty, and your never-ending passion. Keep it coming. Bring your family, bring a friend, bring the belief, and let’s keep pushing forward together and most importantly, let’s enjoy the ride. We have just seven home games left in this crazy season.
