York City head south for the last 200+ mile trip of the season, facing Aldershot Town at the EBB Stadium (3pm kick-off).
The Minstermen bounced back from a third defeat of the campaign last weekend with a comfortable 3-1 win at home to Eastleigh.
The visitors took the lead, but goals from defenders Mark Kitching and Malachi Fagan-Walcott ensured the three points.
Aldershot hit a good bit of form in the last month, but have fallen to three straight defeats heading into this one – they all came against sides in the top five, namely Carlisle, Forest Green, and Rochdale.
John Coleman’s men conceded two first-half goals against the Cumbrians in midweek, as they sit 16th in the table.
In our last meeting with the Shots, Joe Grey came off the bench to score a second-half hat-trick, as we came away 5-1 victors at the LNER.
