We’re pleased to share details of our upcoming Her Game Too – Grassroots Promotion Days.
As part of the promotion, all female players up to Under 16s from local teams can attend the upcoming home games for free when accompanied by a paying adult, provided they arrive wearing their grassroots kit (for example, a team shirt and/or jacket).
These special matchdays reflect our continued commitment to supporting grassroots football, by introducing as many grassroots clubs as possible to the Minster Belles and encouraging greater participation and visibility within the game.
Any York City men’s season ticket holder, or supporter with a ticket for the fixture against Woking, March 28th, will also receive free entry to the York City Ladies first team game against Leeds United on 29th March.

We hope this initiative will inspire young players, celebrate local clubs, and create a fantastic matchday atmosphere for families and teams alike.
Gates open at 1pm, and there is free parking available at the venue on Newton Way. Please look out for the car park sign as you drive in. There is also a place to buy refreshments outside of the ground, toilet facilities and covered seating.
