A last-gasp Malachi Fagan-Walcott header won it late for the Minstermen on Monday.
Tamworth claimed a point at FC Halifax Town last time out after taking the lead early on before fighting back from 2-1 down to get a draw.
The reverse fixture saw two spectacular goals from Alex Hunt, helping the Minstermen to a 4-0 victory.
