York City get underway in pre-season with a Saturday home fixture against League One Barnsley this weekend.
This will be the first football match the Minstermen have taken part in since the dramatic draw at Rochdale in April which clinched the National League title
Our opponents Barnsley will be looking to build on their win at Matlock last weekend under new manager Daniel Stendel.
Both City and the Reds came face to face twice last season in pre-season and the FA Cup.
