We are pleased to be able to confirm the details of next week’s training camp in Spain, which will now be open to all supporters.
York City will head to Spain next week for a 5-day intense training camp under the European sun. In this time, the Minstermen will train three days, as well as taking part in two fixtures against the Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq Club.
We appreciate this is late notice, but we are pleased to confirm that after conversations with our opponents as well as the relevant stakeholders, supporters will now be allowed to attend both fixtures as well as an open training session in between.
Confirmed schedule:
Wednesday 22nd July: York City vs Al Ettifaq U21- 19:00 at: La Nucia Training Complex, Football Pitch 1.
Thursday 23rd July: 8:30am – 11am- York City Fan Training Session at: La Nucia Training Complex, Pasaje Muixara, 11, 03530, Alicante, Spain.
Friday 24th July: York City vs Al Ettifaq – 19:00 venue TBC – Either at La Nucia Football Pitch 1 or Al Ettifaq training ground, which is 15 minutes from the hotel base.
Supporters are welcome to attend any of the events above with no ticket cost required. However, both venues have limited facilities, so supporters will be standing around the pitch. We recommend plenty of water, suncream and a hat.

Supporters are also welcome to stay in Benidorm or the rest of the La Nucia area.
