A reminder to supporters…

Ahead of the 2025/26 season, the club and the Supporters Trust would like to send a polite reminder to all supporters.

As we enter this new campaign, we would like to remind supporters that backing the club in a respectful and mindful manner is at the utmost desire of us all at the club and the supporters’ trust.

Likewise to last season, we will be backing the Love Football. Protect the Game campaign, which aims to erase anti-social behaviour at football games.

Throwing missiles (including streamers), inappropriate behaviour/ chanting or usage of pyrotechnics can all result in the club being held liable by The FA and could face charges, with a range of sanctions, a clearly outlined possibility if incidents occur. This can come in the format of a financial penalty or with point deductions.

We once again ask to keep your support loud, proud, and behind the white line in the stands, both home and away.

Please do not bring into any stadium any form of pyrotechnic or throwable missile, or engage in any form of anti-social behaviour of any kind.

For tomorrow’s game against Sutton, the tifo will once again be allowed to be displayed loud and proud in the south stand, however if a repeat of the play-off game occurs with the use of pyrotechnics and missiles whilst this is ongoing, the tifo will face a permanent ban from the LNER Community Stadium.

Let’s embrace any potential success by representing the club in the best possible light, at home and across the country.

Hear It. See It. Report It. Football is for everyone.

Supporters can text YORK to 60060 (£1 per text) to anonymously alert York Stadium Management Company and their stewards to anti-social or discriminatory behaviour within the LNER Community Stadium on home match days.

Stewards are also on hand, both home and away, to help support the supporters.
