York City manager Adam Hinshelwood has been named the Vanarama National League Manager of the Month for October, making it back-to-back awards now!
The Minstermen drew one-all versus Woking at the start of the month in front of the DAZN cameras before going on to claim four successive victories.
A big seven days, starting on Saturday, October 17th, saw Adam Hinshelwood’s side pick up nine points from as many in a tough run of fixtures.
After dispatching Ebbsfleet on the 17th 4-0, a quick fire double from Alex Hunt and Ollie Pearce gave City victory in a top of the table clash against Barnet on Tuesday, October 22nd.
Over 2,200 City supporters then travelled west for a Yorkshire Derby against FC Halifax Town, where 90+1st and 90+6th goals snatched victory and sent the away section into pandemonium.
The victory away to FC Halifax Town meant City ended October 12 unbeaten in all competitions, with the extended run starting in August!
