Ben Farrar joins Whitby Town on dual-registration

We can confirm that Ben Farrar has joined Whitby Town on dual-registration terms.

The U19s forward has been enjoying time with Bridlington Town so far before his recent recall.

He played ten games for the Seasiders in all competitions, scoring five goals.

On debut against Blyth Town, the 17-year-old played his part in one of Brid’s goals before netting one himself.

That set the tone for the rest of his spell, as Farrar sealed an Isuzu FA Tropny win with his first-minute strike against Mossley, before hitting a brace against Heaton Stannington, and most recently a goal away at North Ferriby.

Away from Bridlington, Farrar was a star in our FA Youth Cup campaign, scoring three as City made it to the Second Round for the first time since 2013.

He also netted in our North Riding Senior Cup tie against Yarm & Eaglescliffe, and was named on the bench for the Minstermen’s Enterprise National League fixture away at Brackley Town.

Now, the striker heads to the Towbar Express Stadium, aiming to impress in the Pitching In Northern Premier League.

Good luck, Ben!

Subject to league and FA approval.
