There have been some recent changes to the car parking at Vangarde Shopping Park which apply to all football and rugby matchdays at the LNER Community Stadium.
Whether you’re visiting to make the most of the shopping and dining facilities or using the car park to attend a football or rugby match, below are the key changes to be aware of:
Match days
- Maximum stay is four hours (previously six hours)
- Visitors arriving between 9am and 12pm will receive four hours free parking
- If you arrive between 12pm and 4pm, you will receive two hours free parking. To extend this to four hours, simply register your car at one of our onsite parking machines for a £5 fee payable via card. Visitors no longer need to make a purchase at one of our stores to extend their parking
- If you arrive between 4pm and 6pm, you will receive four hours free parking
- There are no restrictions on parking for those who arrive between 6pm and midnight
- There are three parking machines located on the main walkway between M&S and Go Outdoors, alongside another at our Management Suite which is next to Prezzo
There will also be clear signage and members of staff onsite each matchday to support visitors and to answer any questions.
Non-match days
- Maximum stay at the car park is four hours (previously six hours)
- Visitors arriving between 9am and 6pm will receive four hours free parking. There is no option to extend beyond this
- There are no restrictions on parking for those who arrive between 6pm and midnight
