Everyone at York City Football Club is shocked to learn that Under-16s captain Harry Rowntree has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer called T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.
Harry has been at the club since joining at under-8s level and has worked through all stages before working his way up to becoming the current under 16’s captain.
In January, after a training session, Harry visited the hospital after a difficult session where he learned of the diagnosis.
The football club will be supporting Harry through his return to football
We are all behind you, Harry!
Harry is raising money for The Candlelighters Trust who have been supporting him through this time.
