Turnstile operations to be tightened.
As we approach the exciting conclusion to the season, we’d like to thank you for your fantastic support throughout the year.
We’ve noticed a large number of supporters purchasing tickets in the incorrect age category to gain entry at a reduced price.
While we understand the enthusiasm and desire to be part of these crucial games, we ask everyone to make sure that tickets are purchased in the correct age category, to keep things fair for all fans and to ensure the club receives the vital funds needed to operate and grow.
Please be aware that anyone found to have deliberately bought tickets in the incorrect age category risks an indefinite ban from York City home games.
The club will be conducting additional checks on matchdays, and anyone attempting to enter with an incorrect ticket will be refused entry.
For anyone entering on a student ticket, providing they can produce evidence of enrolment for the current academic year (should they be challenged) then that student ticket is valid.
Let’s now focus on backing the lads and pushing for a strong finish to this incredible season.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the LNER Community Stadium for our final home league game against Solihull Moors this Saturday.
