York City are thrilled to announce the signing of Craig Hewitt.
The left-sided player joins us on a permanent deal from Chorley FC.
His career began at championship side Coventry City, where he worked his way up the academy before departing in 2022.
In September 2022, the 22-year-old joined Banbury on a permanent deal. He went on to feature 44 times for the National North side.
Ahead of the 24/25 season, Craig joined fellow National North side Chorley. He featured 18 times for the Magpies that season, scoring 4 and assisting 2.
So far this season for Chorley, he’s registered 13 appearances in the league, scoring 6 goals. He now puts pen to paper joining the Minstermen.
