Hat-tricks from Grace Sykes, Ruby Gore and Jess Holder, alongside goals from Milly Ash and Imogen Hayhurst helped Emily Senior’s side comfortably reach the final.
The MinsterBelles are the current holders of the North Riding Women’s County Cup after an impressive win over Thornaby at the Riverside Stadium at the end of the 2023/24 season and will be looking to make it back-to-back Women County Cup successes.
We will share updates on the date and venue of the final as soon as we get them, so keep your eyes peeled to social media.
In the other Semi-Final, our Development Team travelled to Rockliffe Park to take on Middlesbrough U23’s. Despite putting in a spirited performance, they were edged out on the day by an experienced Middlesbrough outfit.
That being said, we’d like to celebrate the fantastic achievement from Dan Jackson’s side to reach the Semi-Final.
The ongoing success of our Development and Reserves sides is testament to the great work of our Female Pathway from our Emerging Talent Centre to Talent Academy, and all the coaches and support team involved.
