York City will battle it out against Hartlepool United once more this weekend when the Minstermen make the short journey up to the Prestige Group Stadium for a 12:30 pm kick-off.
City suffered a mid-week defeat at the hands of Scunthorpe United at the LNER when an Ollie Pearce goal in added time couldn’t spirit a comeback as the visitors slotted home a third shortly after.
Hartlepool have enjoyed a good start to their season and currently sit in 11th in the National League, having won 4 and drawn 6 from their 13 games.
They also, however, lost in mid-week at Carlisle United in a 3-1 defeat.
The last time these two sides faced each other was at the start of March, when again, Ollie Pearce scored the game’s only goal in the first half.
