Harrison Male has been named our Player of the Month for January 2025.
Supporters were invited to vote for their Player of the Month from January 2025 in the Official York City FC app, with four choices on offer.
It’s Male’s first POTM award of the season, and comes deservedly, having racked up eleven clean sheets so far this term.
The goalkeeper began the month with his first on New Year’s Day, a 1-0 win against Gateshead.
He was back between the sticks three more times in the Vanarama National League, one of them being City’s excellent 2-0 away triumph at Oldham, where he made a crucial stop with his hand during the second half.
No other shot-stopper in the division has kept as many clean sheets as our number one.
