Introducing Andy’s Man Club as a 2025/26 York City Charity Partner

We are proud to unveil Andy’s Man Club as a brand new charity partner for the 2025/26 season.

After the huge success of last season, working alongside four charity partners, we are pleased to be once again doing the same with Age UK York and The Island, York, as the first two charities involved. Andy’s Man Club has now become our third confirmed charity partner that we will be working alongside this season!

Last year, whilst hosting a gala dinner raffle along with the mascot gold cup race, we managed to raise funds for all our partners to help with their work in our community.

Each charity also has its own dedicated focus fixture, allowing each charity to showcase itself on its own dedicated match day with us all at the LNER Community Stadium.

Andy’s Man Club

Andy’s Man Club is a free peer-to-peer group for men over 18 that provides a place for men to come together in a safe and open environment to talk about the issues or problems that they have faced or are currently facing.

The process is about bringing men together who have been in similar situations, to help each other on a peer-to-peer basis, sharing advice on how they have dealt with difficult situations.

The group was founded after the death by suicide of Andy Roberts. Andy gave no indication to his family that he was suicidal, as a result, his brother-in-law, Luke Ambler, and mother, Elaine Roberts, founded ANDYSMANCLUB in the hope that men who struggled to open up had a safe space to do so.
