Joe Felix has been named our Player of the Month for December.
Supporters were invited to vote for their Player of the Month from December 2024 in the Official York City FC app, with four choices on offer.
For the third time this season, the versatile full-back claims the accolade, and takes the lead ahead of Ollie Pearce’s two.
It was a quiet month for the Minstermen, with only three matches taking place. We kicked it off with progression in the Isuzu FA Trophy, beating Darlington 3-1, before travelling to Tamworth to claim a point.
Felix grabbed an assist in our only goal of the game, setting up Pearce to put City ahead.
Due to the Boxing Day postponement, our final fixture of the year was at home to Southend United. A 3-0 victory and a well-earned clean sheet raised us back to the top of the table.
