The MinsterBelles are looking to return to action for the first time in 2025 as they travel to Denaby Main to take on Doncaster Rovers Belles on Sunday afternoon.
Emily Senior’s side have been frustrated by the weather since the turn of the year, with three games falling to the recent cold weather.
The MinsterBelles were scheduled to play Ciaran Toner’s side on Sunday 5th January, but overnight snowfall meant that the game was postponed.
The Opposition:
Toner’s side are also yet to taste competitive action in 2025 after a string of postponed matches.
They finished 2024 with an impressive 2-2 draw at home to Chorley when goals from Millie Fugler and Jasmine Saxton helped them pick up a point at home.
They are currently sat in 10th position in the FA Women’s National League, only above the MinsterBelles on goal difference.
Senior’s side could come up against a familiar face with former player Holly Findlay featuring as part of the Doncaster Rovers Belles side.
Tickets for the game are priced at £4 for adults, £3 for those aged 14 to 17 and £1 for under 13s.
